Best style for thick dark hair (mens)?

My hair's always been too thick to grow it long, it just stands up and I end up looking like 80s Maradona. The only things I've been able to do with it are keep it really short (so I barely need to comb it), or if it's a bit longer, slick it back with gel, cream, etc.


Any suggestions for alternatives? If not, which is better: Really short, or slicked back?Best style for thick dark hair (mens)?
if you really want to grow it long maybe you could try the relaxing treatment on your hair so even if it's thick it's not fuzzy.

I have also got thick dark hair but have persisted in growing it long enogh to tie up in a pony tail... if you want it long grow it, if you look different good .. don't be a clone be an individual man

Inverse mohawk. Shave a strip about an inch and a half wide right down the centre in a line.
Keep it short and use just a small amount of wet look gel.

Try Dry wax, prefer Japanese brands..they look better.





I have the same kinda hair. Gel doesn't look natural..some girls may not like it coz it kinda look sticky.





Dry max can hold your thick hair and look natural as well. I think you may like it.

short and lightly gelled - looks like the guy takes good care of himself - which us girls always appreciate - if he takes care of himself he will take care of us!!!
I shave my head (twice a week). I don't really care what anyone else thinks. I do it because I'm going bald and it cuts down on bathroom time.
