I have a lot of male clients who color their hair, but most don`t stick with it to long because they don`t want to pay or do the upkeep. You will need to touch it up every 4-6 weeks. You can use a semi permanent color and it will fade nicely if you don`t go to crazy with the color. Weaving would be the highest recommendation for you if you are considering color. I also am balding norwood 1, So getting perm and using flat iron is a no no.

There is not a WHOLE lot you can do, but that's OK cause long hair on a guy is really hot. (as long as they keep it clean--greasy stringy just doesn't work) If it is REALLY long, maybe you should cut it to about halfway down your back. That is a good length and tie it back.
To be honest, I don't think there are different hairstyles for men with long hair. At least I don't think the looks will look good. The only thing you can do is just leave it the way it is, and tie it. Guys who have long hair, and tie it look great. If you have really long hair, having it loose is not that great. That is the price for guys who have long hair, because it's always about having it long, and not styling it. If you were to cut your hair, then you would be able to experiment with styles. So, you can leave it long, and not do much with it, or cut it and experiment with other styles.

There is not a WHOLE lot you can do, but that's OK cause long hair on a guy is really hot. (as long as they keep it clean--greasy stringy just doesn't work) If it is REALLY long, maybe you should cut it to about halfway down your back. That is a good length and tie it back.
To be honest, I don't think there are different hairstyles for men with long hair. At least I don't think the looks will look good. The only thing you can do is just leave it the way it is, and tie it. Guys who have long hair, and tie it look great. If you have really long hair, having it loose is not that great. That is the price for guys who have long hair, because it's always about having it long, and not styling it. If you were to cut your hair, then you would be able to experiment with styles. So, you can leave it long, and not do much with it, or cut it and experiment with other styles.

What hair product to use to get that messed up look for men?
What should I use to get hair like Lloyd off x factor or what stuff does fernando torres use (but for shorter hair, medium length) allthe wax I use just flattens during the day!! Help LOL! But if u're interested in jobs in advertising, or as a member of creative team (i.e photography, design) then having braids won't hurt a hurt a person's chance at employment .

Just bang your head forward so your hair naturally falls toward your forehead all together (you may need to shake it a little to get it the way you want).
Finish it off with enough hair spray to keep it steady.

Depends on the girl, and it also depends on your personal sense of style. Using a product on your hair can help control the curls a bit, but you can use product and make it appear more natural. If you have shorter curly hair, try putting a small but of moose or gel ( if your hair stands up well on it's own, use gel. if you need more volume, use moose) in you hair and working through well. use a blowdryer and work with the curls. it will give you a very natural look. if you have more questions, feel free to IM me or e-mail me. For most of my life, I've gone without a true hairstyle. I either get it cut short or let it grow a little and do the messy look. Unfortunately - I would strongly reccommend that you wait until you can go to a hairdresser to sort the colour out. If you try and lighten it or bleach it the results could be disasterous. Keep the box of the dye you used as some mens colours contain metallic salts which can react with some chemicals.
You could burn your scalp or disintigrate your hair if you attempt to correct this at home.
for anyone who is saying dye it lighter - that is a technical impossibility as dye does not lift dye. You can only bleach a colour lighter (don't do that though)

If it's still to light you can repeat. I just suggest that you use conditioner after the last time you do it because your hair will be kinda dry and frizzy from that strong soap.
To get the color off your skin take a really small bowl and put one part bleach in to 3 party water. mix it with a knife or a q-tip. then after it's mixed well just use the corner of a rag or a q tip and rub the area where the dye is on your skin. When I come out of the shower, I comb my hair and it looks really good. Sidepart with a nice shape for the main 'wavey' part. But when it gets dry, it just flops.

The fastest way to get your hair to look like that would probably be to use the hair gel but not too much.
If your hair is the type that needs a ton of gel to stay that way try blow drying your hair after you shower each day. Point the dryer at your bangs and blow your bangs up. You should have relatively short hair for this because if your hair is too long, your bangs would just look funny sticking up in the air. If you dry your hair the way you want it to look everyday then it should start looking somewhat like that naturally or with only a tiny bit of gel so your hair won't look greasy. I can't guarantee this will work for everyone but you could give it a shot. You'll be amazed at what a hair dryer could do!
If this is too much work, there is always the option of getting a buzz cut and letting it grow out to look like that. This option works for some people.

Hello everyone, I need help with getting haircut I want and knowing what to ask for when in hairdressers. I have shoulder length hair, which is fairly straight and want to add more texture to it and have it little shorter. I want layers but arn't sure how many or what to say. If you have a dandruff problem, try to use an anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner often. Or your might need to wash your hair more often (try conditioning it twice a week. Shampoo once a month.) If you still want to go blond, don't go bimbo blond, aand settle for a darker shade (like Beckham's. Super blond hair grows back roots easily, and you'll end up looking like a 90s popstar.)

My boyfriend has been struggling for years about what to do with his hair. It's extremely thick and curly, but so thick that the curls never show up, he just looks...fuzzy. His usual solution is to just buzz it all to 1/2 an inch, but then he looks about 14 (if he shaves off his beard too, instead of the 21 that he is.

Get it braided :-) or go to a professional and let them remove some of the bulk by cutting it (thinning out the hair) so that you can rock more styles without the hassle. Or use lots of gel applied in sections and work with it.

I love to experiment with hair coloring. What is the coolest color or combination of colors for men?
You look like your base color is very dark?...or is that colored already?...I would recommend highlighting it with very light blonde streaks and coloring over those with a carmel color. Unless, your naturally dark, then you can achieve this, without the blonde step and even change to a copper color. I've done all this in the salon, and I believe it's what's hot right now. My youngest son has tried many colors on his natural blond hair. Since you love to experiment, try buying spray temporary color. Make sure you buy a white to underlay the color you'd like on top and then you can see how it looks for a day and if you'd like it permanently after that, get it done by someone who knows what they are doing. Red, blue, green and more they have them all in temp sprays. Manic Panic is a great place to find all kinds of strange and unusual colors.
Think BRAD PITT-- BLOND, Blond men are very rear and they always turn heads of the ladies.
with your colouring i'd go a mid range blue and black. Blue would be your highlights. Or maybe fire engine red highlights with a black base. Stick with a dark base, it'll look better on you :)

Add a pic or description and I would love to give you my opinion if you would like it;o) Don`t be afraid to change your color. I have a lot of male clients who color their hair, but most don`t stick with it to long because they don`t want to pay or do the upkeep. You will need to touch it up every 4-6 weeks. You can use a semi permanent color and it will fade nicely if you don`t go to crazy with the color. Weaving would be the highest recommendation for you if you are considering color. (high lights)=weaving. Good luck!!

Why not? I have several male customers who have me color their hair and some just have me put highlights or lowlights throughout their hair. The biggest drawback is that the majority of them keep their hair relatively short so they do have to come back more often which can get quite expensive. If you are cool already, coloring your hair will make you even cooler. If you are not cool already, coloring you hair won't make you cool. If you decide to do this, remember that hair color and highlighting is a chemical process and if you try this yourself, you may regret it. Check around for a good stylist who specializes in hair color and get some face-to-face advice.
