Best haircut for balding man with little hair on top but a good amount on sides and back?

my fiance is what i like to call ';follic-ly challenged'; meaning he has little hair on the top of his head as compared to the sides and back. sometimes he says he wants to just shave his head, not all the way, but with no connections on the shaver so its just like a buzz. if he grows it out, it sometimes makes his balding more evident. he doesnt want to use any of the rogaine type things, and i dont want him to either. i dont want him to change who he is, but we're just looking for opinions on the best haircut for his type of hair (especially for our wedding coming up). any hair-savy people want to help us? thanksBest haircut for balding man with little hair on top but a good amount on sides and back?
How progressive are you? My hair stylist is balding and his hair color changes all the time. I'd keep it short and modern, or bald completely. I think bald can be sexy, especially if he keeps himself in good shape (balding can be aging if he doesn't).

yeah, he should cut the hair he has down to a short buzz, or shave it altogether. that's hot.

My boyfriend is in the same boat. We went out and bought our own set of clippers and I cut his hair every week or two with no guard. He loves it and the clippers paid for themselves pretty fast. He'd be shelling out a lot of money for all those haircuts! Plus it's a fun thing to do for me, and a way I can kinda take care of him.



Oh, and PLUS I love how it feels the first day or two after I shave it, and he loves that too cause he gets little head rubs when he's driving or when we're falling asleep :)
I recommended, just shave the entire head, is sexy and more healthy..........
how does he look with it shaved down? If it looks good, he should do it. There are quite a few good looking bald guys out there! (Yes Tom Collichio, I am looking at you!)
