Is there a hair dye for men which DOES NOT leave the hair with a red/orange glow or shine after dying/fading??

The truth is, all men's hair dyes are complete rubbish. Thy simply do not work. Just get a woman's hair dye. They work, have stronger coloring and always give you the color that is on the bottle.
