If he is going to lose his hair (not all chemo regimes cause hair loss) he may find he just prefers to go bald than wear uncomfortable hair pieces.





Personally I found wigs unbearable and used scarves; I wasn't brave enough to go out of the house with my bald head uncovered, but I would have had I been male.

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2000. I had surgery and chemotherapy. I lost every hair on my entire body before the chemo. was over. About three months after the chemo. was over, my hair started to grown back. I liked having a bald head so much that I shave my head every summer now. Tell your Dad not to worry about it. Hair will grow back after the chemo. is over.
