If you're going for the wet look I would advise Redken for Men - Grip Tight. It gives you the hold and shineness of regular gel and when you mess it up it doesn't flake and when you apply water to it it looks fresh again!!

What is a good brand for hair gels for men that won't flake?I like Dippity Do btw I think they will all flake if you brush or comb once it is dry.

The best one I have come across is by Sebastian Haircare. it is pricey, but it won't flake (giving you the dandruff look on your clothes).
You only need the tiniest little bit for it to be effective, so it all weighs out to be cost effective too.
The product is called Sebastian Bondage Rock Hard Hold. They also have slightly lighter products if you want a softer hold. My brother uses it every day and it was recommended by a top haridresser.

One of my favorite men's hair gel to use on my clients is by Goldwell called Lagoom. It has a nice scent and a firm hold and it won't flake in the hair.
Not an expensive product either. You can go online to find your local goldwell provider. Only sold in salons.
Amercian crew has a really nice hair gel and it's a product line catered to men.
I believe you can find American Crew at target.
