Where would be a good place to get a stylish Men's haircut for a guy with long hair?

Alright, I know this may sound lame or strange, but I have long, straight brown hair (about shoulder length). Right now, its just long, doesnt have much style, looks silly. I want to keep it long, as I wont have the chance to again.





But I was wondering where I should go in to get some shape, some sort of style while still keeping it longer. I clearly dont wanna go to the hair cuttery or anything. I normally just used to go to some salon my mom went to, but I never liked the haircut I go there. I tried another female type salon, but I got stuck with the crappy hair cutter because she had the most openings.





So Im wondering where to get a good, stylish haircut for a guy. Do I go somewhere like Mario Tricoci? I know its expensive, but is this what I gotta do? Do they even cut guys hair/ would they be good at it?

I'd say go to a salon, and go when they are the least busy, maybe Saturday morning. See if they have any hair style books in there, and look through it, see if you like anything (or look online and print out a photo to bring with you). Show them what you want, and ask them what they think.





You don't have to go to a really expensive salon to get a good cut. I'll admit, some stylists aren't very good, but most are pretty good.

I would definetly go to a salon and Not a barber.... Mia %26amp; Maxx are pretty awesome and not that expensive- check out your local malls, ask a couple of your girl friends where they get there hair done. they would know best for your area.
