What is a good hair-to-head ratio for men? (pics)?

I think it risks being too sloppy when it's sort of long in the back and is verging on becoming a ';laziness mullet'; where the mullet-ness is unintentional and just looks like an overgrown haircut that the wearer is too lazy to get tidied up. The second picture looks great, especially in the front, but the combination of the crop top (the really short pieces at the crown of the head that give it volume on top) and the shagginess below the ears is risky and depends on whether or not you personally can pull it off! The first haircut seems to handle this best, but maybe it's just the angle and/or copious hair product.



Also, the phrase ';hair-to-head ratio'; cracked me up but it's not so much about the AMOUNT of hair as it is the structure of the cut, so keep that in mind and use your own judgment about what looks good. Some people especially GUYS will say getting any style besides a buzz cut is too feminine but these people are stupid and probably have horrible hair.What is a good hair-to-head ratio for men?
