Well that is not necessarily the case. Most men if they are getting a salon color will take up until 30-45 minutes depending on how much gray coverage is needed. To highlight their hair is more tedious because their hair is shorter. Women however, usually have their hair longer so that tends to take up more time as well. Women's is usually longer. If a Woman put the same hair dye as the man it would take fast as well. Usually the 5 minute one's for men are in very dark color's. This is why. I dye my hair though and I leave it in for twenty minutes because I dye it lighter. '-)

Yes they only have to brush just for men into their hair, but we have to go through the whole rigamarol of washing and dyeing our hair, for the colours needed. why cant they invent a suitable long lasting, i mean, LONG LASTING ,Hair colorant that we just wash in, not just colour shampoos that don`t realy colour at all.

My boyfriend dyes his hair as he started going grey prematurely and he used to use 'Just For Men'. He also has quite a sensitive scalp and it actually used to sting his head quite badly when i applied it so he switched to using women's dyes and they are a lot more gentle on his scalp. So considering this i guess the ammonia or whatever is a lot stronger in the men's dyes to achieve a quicker result whereas the women's is a lot more gentle and kind to the hair (they probably do this as they know most men are so impatient when it comes to beauty stuff and can't be bothered to wait half an hour! lol)
It's high in ammonia and it really can take about 15 depending on the hair color needed.
The reason is they cut their hair more often and the bad hair is cut off before it turns bad colors.
However it works.
Women it's not for you..it say just for men and believe me it is.
We don't have to do our facial hair.
They a lot less hair. Also, woman have a ton of different hair colors 2 chose from and men have less so therefore they'res is not as good, and womans takes more time because its better!

there is no time frame on this some are early my husband started thining very early approx 17 he shaved all his hair at about 19 to about a number 3 cut but has still not gone bald and he is now 38. However my brother went bald quite quick thinning started in his early 20's and he was bald by about 42. The best advice I can give is to check when your mothers father went bald this would give you an approx time frame. although there are some great hair regrowth centres out there if you are not wanting to go bald just yet. I was completely turned off by Natalie Portman when she cut her hair for the movie V for Vendetta. Britney Spears looked less attractive as well when she went did her crazy stunt and shaved off all her hair in front of the cameras.
It is amazing the difference long hair can make to the female face. How many super models do you know that have short hair? Very few, if any.

I have absolutely no idea. I think it might have something to do with the fact that men have short hair, and that long hair is a very womanly thing, or that they like running their hands through long hair, or they just like the way it looks....whatever it is, I couldn't really tell you. My boyfriend likes me hair both long and short, but likes it a bit better short so it doesn't get in the way when we're making out.

Acatually, it's a social construct. I personally beleive that women look very attractive with short hair, i mean if it's styled, of course (as opposed to dyke spikes.) Not to mention, Short hair is very practical. It takes less time to wash and dry, and doesn't get all over the place.

Because generally, it's more feminine and attractive - especially if you're talking about the long, sexy, voluminous kind you see in stars such as Beyonce. It's got a sexy, uninhibited look to it that most guys really like, as opposed to controlled, stay-in-place short hair. Of course, if it goes does down to your butt, then that would be too weird so longer isn't ALWAYS better :P

If the skin is lite I like blonde because it really looks funny to have dark skin and white hair. So I like all colors of hair. It just has to fit your skin color. Green, blue, bright red (a true red head is just fine) but them werd colors should be on a bird not a person.

When you hair begins to grow out you will begin to see a difference in the texture, your natural kinky texture and the curly texturized texture. My wife CAN'T get the stains out of the furnature or the cat....

Get the cat to the vet as the dye is poisonous to it. Get your furniture recovered, or try rubbing alcohol, or hair spray to get the stains out. This might work, that's what I use to remove ink stains from clothing.
Permanent hair dye is almost impossible to get out. Getting it with warm water and detergent while it is still wet is your best bet, but you probably won't get all of it. Give the cat a bath and call the vet too see if they have any ideas. Hydrogen peroxide might get it out of the white cat but I'd want to check with the vet on a safe formulation before trying it.
Try Clorox eraser sponges for the walls, floors and counter tops. It takes almost anything out.
You may want to test a spot on the furniture before using the Clorox sponge as it may damage the finish. You can also try fantastic citrus or regular orange juice on the furniture (test a spot first). Let it stay on for a few minutes and then use a damp rag to remove.
Wash the cat, don't use the dye on him as it may poison the cat and then you will have a hefty vet bill.

go to ask jeeves and try and find out if there is a solution for the hairdye on the couch and such but as for the cat? im not too sure about that one maybe calling a groomers and having them assess the damage might be helpful it might be a little pricey but whatever works i guess

get some of that oxy clean in a tub. mix it with some water to make it look like a paste. it worked great getting rust off a stainless steal sink.
try using a bissel cleaner to get the stains out.
Definitely just give your vet a call or any vet, in general you can find one who will tell you if it's an actual health emergency or not. It's possible the dye will just remain on the cat until the hair grows out, and you might even want to see about doing a shave (depending of course on the weather and how forgiving your feline is).
A few years back my lovely cat showed me some love while I was using Nair on my legs. Half of his face was hairless, whiskers and all, afterwards. I was freaked, but called a local vet and was reassured he would be fine. And he was! He remembers the smell of Nair and comes nowhere near me now when I'm using it.

I would reccomend pet shampoo to wash the chemicals out, you don't want your cat to ingest that stuff, it could make him sick.
And then wait it out. It'll wear off over time as your cat sheds.
The furniture on the other hand? Get what you can of it out, blot don't scrub to prevent the stain from getting bigger, but it's probably too late unless it's white furniture and you can bleach it safely. Your best options are probably to reupholster the furniture or find a nice fabric covering for it, or throw a blanket over it. Dye will stain fabric very easily, even skin and fingernails too. That's why I have a shirt I keep on hand that I only wear when I'm dying my hair, so I don't ruin any shirts. And I use petroleum jelly around my hairline to help color inside the lines and not mess up and dye my ears. You gotta wipe that stuff up asap or it will stain.
If it's too tough for stain removers, you can cover up the spots or reupholster.
You would have better luck getting candle wax out of carpet. Literally.
You can try oxyclean {On the furniture,not the cat LOL}
But for a semi permanent coloring like that you might be stuck with it.
Depending on the fabrics Rit dye has a color remover that might do the trick.
Local stores usually carry it like Wal-mart etc.

Get the cat to the vet as the dye is poisonous to it. Get your furniture recovered, or try rubbing alcohol, or hair spray to get the stains out. This might work, that's what I use to remove ink stains from clothing.
Permanent hair dye is almost impossible to get out. Getting it with warm water and detergent while it is still wet is your best bet, but you probably won't get all of it. Give the cat a bath and call the vet too see if they have any ideas. Hydrogen peroxide might get it out of the white cat but I'd want to check with the vet on a safe formulation before trying it.
Try Clorox eraser sponges for the walls, floors and counter tops. It takes almost anything out.
You may want to test a spot on the furniture before using the Clorox sponge as it may damage the finish. You can also try fantastic citrus or regular orange juice on the furniture (test a spot first). Let it stay on for a few minutes and then use a damp rag to remove.
Wash the cat, don't use the dye on him as it may poison the cat and then you will have a hefty vet bill.

go to ask jeeves and try and find out if there is a solution for the hairdye on the couch and such but as for the cat? im not too sure about that one maybe calling a groomers and having them assess the damage might be helpful it might be a little pricey but whatever works i guess

get some of that oxy clean in a tub. mix it with some water to make it look like a paste. it worked great getting rust off a stainless steal sink.
try using a bissel cleaner to get the stains out.
Definitely just give your vet a call or any vet, in general you can find one who will tell you if it's an actual health emergency or not. It's possible the dye will just remain on the cat until the hair grows out, and you might even want to see about doing a shave (depending of course on the weather and how forgiving your feline is).
A few years back my lovely cat showed me some love while I was using Nair on my legs. Half of his face was hairless, whiskers and all, afterwards. I was freaked, but called a local vet and was reassured he would be fine. And he was! He remembers the smell of Nair and comes nowhere near me now when I'm using it.

I would reccomend pet shampoo to wash the chemicals out, you don't want your cat to ingest that stuff, it could make him sick.
And then wait it out. It'll wear off over time as your cat sheds.
The furniture on the other hand? Get what you can of it out, blot don't scrub to prevent the stain from getting bigger, but it's probably too late unless it's white furniture and you can bleach it safely. Your best options are probably to reupholster the furniture or find a nice fabric covering for it, or throw a blanket over it. Dye will stain fabric very easily, even skin and fingernails too. That's why I have a shirt I keep on hand that I only wear when I'm dying my hair, so I don't ruin any shirts. And I use petroleum jelly around my hairline to help color inside the lines and not mess up and dye my ears. You gotta wipe that stuff up asap or it will stain.
If it's too tough for stain removers, you can cover up the spots or reupholster.
You would have better luck getting candle wax out of carpet. Literally.
You can try oxyclean {On the furniture,not the cat LOL}
But for a semi permanent coloring like that you might be stuck with it.
Depending on the fabrics Rit dye has a color remover that might do the trick.
Local stores usually carry it like Wal-mart etc.

An ex of mine used to go for that shiite. All it used to do though was leave a red rash around his hairline. Was really pricey though. Load of bollox. Can't beat a short crop when it comes to going bald. Defo no Bobby Charlton combovers.
My ex boyfriend used to spend $150 per bottle to use on his thinning hair. Funny part was that when he got out of the shower, he'd have to spend another 5 minutes cleaning out his hair from the drain. So, to me, no these treatments do not work.

An article in the either the British Daily Mail or Express the other day mentioned a new, upcoming treatment that's being developed. With caffine! Apparently it surpresses the hormone thingy that causes thining, i don't know if it reverses it, but it sounds like it might as the article speculated that it could be an even simpler/easier treatment than the second new one i'll mention. Apparently they say the alternative is to drink 60 cups of coffee a day (DON'T AS I'M PRETTY SURE THIS WILL KILL YOU)... or, you know, wait till this new medication arrives that delivers direct treatement to the area.
Another treatment that i've read about, thought to be available around 2010, God willing, involves taking a scalp sample from the side of the head (where the follicles either don't attract, or aren't affected by the hormone) stimulate them in a lab and re-inject them into your scalp some months later, after another few months it should re-grow, if it works, and not fall out again (as these new follicles wouldn't be affected by the hormone). It sounds similar but better than a hair transplant (or 'hair plugs' as some call them) which involves transplanting/'plugging' whole hairs from the back or side of the head. They can look quite ugly and unnatural though, like doll's hair and they're simply removing hair from one part of the head to another. Anyway, the article said the new treatment should be a cheap procedure and take up to 1000 injections for a fully bald head. It also said that in the future, it could be that baldness would be a choice. So hang in there.

An ex of mine used to go for that shiite. All it used to do though was leave a red rash around his hairline. Was really pricey though. Load of bollox. Can't beat a short crop when it comes to going bald. Defo no Bobby Charlton combovers.
My ex boyfriend used to spend $150 per bottle to use on his thinning hair. Funny part was that when he got out of the shower, he'd have to spend another 5 minutes cleaning out his hair from the drain. So, to me, no these treatments do not work.

An article in the either the British Daily Mail or Express the other day mentioned a new, upcoming treatment that's being developed. With caffine! Apparently it surpresses the hormone thingy that causes thining, i don't know if it reverses it, but it sounds like it might as the article speculated that it could be an even simpler/easier treatment than the second new one i'll mention. Apparently they say the alternative is to drink 60 cups of coffee a day (DON'T AS I'M PRETTY SURE THIS WILL KILL YOU)... or, you know, wait till this new medication arrives that delivers direct treatement to the area.
Another treatment that i've read about, thought to be available around 2010, God willing, involves taking a scalp sample from the side of the head (where the follicles either don't attract, or aren't affected by the hormone) stimulate them in a lab and re-inject them into your scalp some months later, after another few months it should re-grow, if it works, and not fall out again (as these new follicles wouldn't be affected by the hormone). It sounds similar but better than a hair transplant (or 'hair plugs' as some call them) which involves transplanting/'plugging' whole hairs from the back or side of the head. They can look quite ugly and unnatural though, like doll's hair and they're simply removing hair from one part of the head to another. Anyway, the article said the new treatment should be a cheap procedure and take up to 1000 injections for a fully bald head. It also said that in the future, it could be that baldness would be a choice. So hang in there.

Really there is nothing wrong with using cosmetics to look younger and better. men and women have been doing it for a long time and there are entire inductries founded on vanity.
Getting bald, grey or white hair is just natural and controlled by genetics. If you want to remove that sign of aging (and the supposed dignity, wisdom, experience and maturity that brings) it is your personal option.
No one want to get old, though that is more mental than physical unless there is intervention by disease. But in most cultures, agi brings respect, even reverence (Except is USA where, in general, respect for most things is lacking). One want to look young because youth is strength, vitality and many years ahead. As you get older you look back more than forward.
In any case - cosmetics of any kind are intended to change appearance for the better image. That is vanity (Unless for real cosmetic disficurement or repair of natural body defects.)
Grey hair is not one of those.
As one Elder put it - It took me 70 years to get white hair, why should I want to change it.

Not really. Hair loss is internal, and genetic. For males, it's hormonal, and starts in puberty. There isn't anything you can do now to stop it. Not really. Hair loss is internal, and genetic. For males, it's hormonal, and starts in puberty. There isn't anything you can do now to stop it. As long as you are healthy, all will be as good as possible. No snake oil or horse shampoo is going to do anything for you. I would say not to use chemicals on your hair.Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. Is it ok for men to straighten their hair with straighteners? if so does it work well?
i think its absolutly STUNNING when a guy straightens his hair, especially when he's like a skater and its like shaggy. ah, and with a cute skater hat, hmm. that would be my dream guy鈾?br>

I got mine for about $22 at Wal-mart. It really surprised me because I have a lot of hair on my head in addition to it being wavy, and this thing gets it slick straight.
