No, Just for Men is a metallic progressive dye, it can only darken (IE it contains no peroxide thus offering no lift) the other downside, is progressive dyes coat the hair shaft with a metallic sheath...if you were to use other hair colors OVER it, a variety of things could happen...such as a very strange color result, no color change or it could even cause the hair to ';sizzle'; and fall out...depending on the type of metal present and the type of dye used after....any progressive tint is a BAD idea for anyone who isnt going to ONLY use progressive tint (IE older gentlemen who want a slow change for the removal of grey but are wary or embarrassed to go to a salon for haircolor etc...) only permanent color will offer a ';lift'; (let you go from darker to lighter) and for what you want to do you can probably do it at home using a light brown permanent haircolor box...the only difference i recommend is if you are of asian descent, to consult a hairdresser to do this for you, as asian hair is much harder to color than Caucasian or Afro american hair (as the cuticle of the hair lies tighter against the hair shaft, its harder to get it to open up and accept color)

yes, but Just For Men doesn't have nearly the color/style variety that women's hair dye does. You should just get a women's box and only use some of it
